Western Superior Jute Industries Ltd. (WSJIL) is Western Group's new wing of Non-Woven Geo-textile and Jute Felt manufacturing for the global and local market. It is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery that incorporates modern technologies to meet the diverse needs of clients both at home and abroad.

WSJIL is one of the fastest-growing manufacturers of non-woven Geo-textiles and Jute Felt in Bangladesh. Our objective is to produce Geo-textile, PET flakes, Fiber and Jute Felt products of the highest quality, catering to both local and international markets.

Where are our products used?

• Geo-textile Fabrics: Our geo-textile fabrics are designed to meet modern geotechnical engineering requirements, including:

  • Stabilization

  • Separation

  • Filtration

  • Reinforcement

  • Erosion Control

• Jute Felt: Jute Felt is primarily used in the automotive industry for car interlining and reinforcement of interior trim parts, including passenger compartments, trunks, and engine compartments. In addition to its role in automotive applications, Jute Felt is used in tree plantation and construction. Countries such as Japan, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and Turkey are the major importers of Jute Felt products from Bangladesh.

Main Raw Materials:

• Virgin Polypropylene Fiber (PP Fiber)

• Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF)

• Virgin Raw Jute

Sources of Raw Materials:

• Polypropylene Fiber (PP Fiber): Inhouse and imported from countries like China, Vietnam, Korea, Belgium, and Saudi Arabia.

• Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF): Inhouse and Source both locally and from international suppliers.

• Raw Jute: Procured locally in Bangladesh.

• Application: Primarily used in geotextile applications and padding.

PET Bottle Washing Plant:

• Capacity: 40 MT/day

• Product Range: The final product is PET flakes

Application: Provides raw materials for PSF fiber and PET film production.

Western Superior Jute Industries Ltd. (WSJIL) is located in Salna, Gazipur, about 35 km from Dhaka.

Location of our Factory

Production Capacity

• Geo-textile: Maximum 900 MT per month, which totals around 10,800 MT per year.

• Geo-bag: 900,000 pcs of 250 kg capacity bag/month.

• Jute Felt: Current production capacity is 78 MT per month, with plans to increase this to 250 MT per month, totaling around 3,000 MT per year.
